Starting with HT/LT wiring, panel board installations, and transformer yard work for local industrial units and residential projects, the company quickly earns a reputation for reliable, on-time delivery. Operating from a basement office at Do Square, Leela Bhawan, the foundation is built on hands-on engineering — every cable pulled, every joint tested by the founder himself.

RS Electricals wins its first large-scale commercial contracts — complete electrical distribution systems for shopping complexes, office buildings, and educational institutions across Patiala and Sangrur. Introduction of DG synchronization panels, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and LT panel bus-bar systems. The team grows from 5 to 25 skilled electricians and supervisors.

Expanded service scope into the booming pharmaceutical manufacturing hub of Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Delivered turnkey cleanroom HVAC air handling systems, HEPA filtration installations, and industrial ventilation for GMP-compliant pharma labs. Mastered differential pressure cascading, ISO 14644 cleanroom classifications, and humidity-controlled environments — capabilities that would become a core differentiator for the company.

Established a dedicated HVAC engineering division offering centralized chilled water plant design, VRF/VRV multi-split systems, ducted AHU installations, and precision air conditioning for server rooms. Completed first 500+ TR chiller plant project for a commercial IT complex in Mohali. Began partnerships with leading OEMs including Daikin, Blue Star, Carrier, and Voltas for equipment supply and commissioning.

Commissioned major 33kV outdoor substations, transformer yards, and power distribution networks for industrial parks. Simultaneously entered the healthcare sector with NABH-compliant laminar airflow operating theater (OT) ventilation systems, essential UPS backup power, and medical gas pipeline installations. Served hospitals across Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh — delivering zero-failure life-safety electrical systems where reliability is literally a matter of life and death.

Following the introduction of NBC 2016 fire safety mandates, RS Electricals launched a full fire fighting division. Capabilities include wet riser hydrant networks, automatic sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action), addressable fire alarm panels, gas-based suppression systems (FM-200, Novec 1230), and fire NOC documentation. The team secured fire safety contracts for high-rise residential towers, commercial malls, and industrial warehouses.

Integrated SCADA, PLC-based process automation, and BACnet/Modbus BMS controllers into project deliveries. Launched a Solar EPC division delivering turnkey commercial rooftop solar PV installations up to 500 kWp with net metering, remote monitoring dashboards, and automated panel cleaning systems. Completed India's first projects combining solar, BMS, and HVAC optimization into a single integrated energy management platform — delivering 25-35% energy savings for clients.

Expanded into mission-critical infrastructure — delivering complete electrical and cooling solutions for Tier III data centers including dual-feed HT substations, 2N redundant UPS systems, precision air conditioning, hot/cold aisle containment, and PUE optimization. Achieved PUE ratings below 1.3 on multiple projects. Also began serving IT parks, co-location facilities, and edge computing sites in Mohali, Chandigarh, and Delhi NCR.

Sukhman P. Singh leads strategic expansion into digital twin BIM modeling, IoT predictive maintenance, and structured project management consultancy (PMC). Introduction of CRM-based project pipeline tracking, automated progress reporting, and thermal imaging-based preventive audits. The company transitions from a traditional contracting model to a technology-enabled engineering platform with standardized processes, quality checklists, and 4-stage inspection protocols (FAT → Arrival QC → In-Process Testing → SAT Commissioning).
